I can't tell you how many times I read this. I love it! I'm intrigued by duality, and the creative and destructive force that is fire epitomises it for me. I'm a sucker for an open fire on a winter day, but I've also been terrified by wildfires coming way to close to my home. And I'm also very focused on how our negative experiences can strengthen us. These words of yours were so beautiful and powerful, and spoke right to my heart. A gorgeously-crafted piece of writing.

Fire is so many things and I love that you see this!
Fire is both cradle and coffin.
It warms the cold and lights the dark.
Consumes. Devours. Leaves only ash where memory once clung.
It is the beginning of hearths and the end of homes.
A flicker of hope—or a final breath.
It never chooses. It only burns.
Thank you so very much, you are so kind! 🩵
How beautiful, this one will stay with me 🙏🏼
Thank you so much Taro! You are so kind! 🩵
Reminded me of Jung’s “in all chaos there is a cosmos, in all order a secret disorder.”
I will have to take a peek at that! I'm sure it's an honor to be even considered next to this amazing creation! Thank you so much! 🩵
Oh my goodness! This touched my heart!
